Are you passionate about ensuring quality and compliance in manufacturing processes? Do you thrive on managing documentation and collaborating with technical teams? Then you might be the one we are looking for as our new Technical Writer & Case Lead.

You will play a crucial role in supporting business continuity at the Aalborg blade manufacturing plant. This position is designed to manage an increased documentation workload following a reorganization, ensuring that all manufacturing process documentation is created, updated, and maintained compliant. You will have your primary focus as a Technical Writer, but act as a Case Lead in some instances.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Technical Documentation Management

  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to gather information and ensure the accuracy and clarity of all documents.
  • Translate complex technical information and engineering specifications into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for production operators.
  • Manage and maintain the structure, versioning, and accessibility of the document library within the company’s document management system.
  • Create, review, and update technical documentation, including work instructions, process descriptions, and manuals.

Quality Compliance & Change Control

  • Administer the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) system, ensuring all modifications to documentation are properly tracked, approved, and implemented according to procedure.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing documentation to identify needs for updates, improvements, or obsolescence.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation, demonstrating document control processes, and addressing auditor inquiries.

What You Bring

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, or regulated industry.
  • You are familiar with ISO 9001 quality standards and document control procedures in a production environment.
  • Proficiency with document management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio).
  • Systems: Teamcenter, Content Management Systems (CMS), Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) such as: Jira, Windchill

Soft Skills:

You should be structured in your approach, strong in planning and coordination, and capable of problem-solving in a regulated manufacturing setting.
