About the Role
- Promoting a zero-harm safety culture by leading visible, on-site safety campaigns, hosting monthly safety representative meetings, and keeping toolbox talks engaging and clear
- Lead incident investigations and emergency response by reviewing safety observations, driving root cause analysis, closing out corrective actions, and keeping emergency plans and drills current with Siemens Energy and subcontractor teams
- Owning EHS reporting and site inspections: publish weekly EHS reports, run routine site and fire risk inspections, and keep mobilization, installation, and commissioning documentation organized and accessible
- Set up safe systems of work for every project phase while establishing EHS project folders, confirming health and safety plans are understood, reviewing RAMS for non-routine tasks, and managing visitor registration and PPE tracking
- Building workforce competency and holding subcontractors accountable: deliver site inductions and project-specific training, verify certifications, and monitor subcontractor compliance with approved RAMS
- Supporting quality assurance and overseeing quality inspections across the project, catching issues early and driving them through to resolution
- Minimum a Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience in site-based EHS roles, ideally within the energy, manufacturing or construction sectors
- Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations, paired with proven experience in incident investigation and emergency response planning
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills that help you guide diverse teams through fast-moving site environments
- Very Good Language Skills in German and English both written and spoken
- SiFa/DGUV or an equivalent certification is preferred
