About the Role

We are now recruiting for a Commercial Manager of Offshore Service Operations covering our projects in Asia and Pacific, who, through effective collaboration with technical counterparts will provide sound commercial leadership & drive the financial performance and transparency of the projects, including identifying and mitigating significant risk and assisting in the development and implementation of the strategy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Leading and developing teams of commercial project managers and project controllers
• Financial partner to the technical organization
• P&L responsible for the offshore service backlog in the specific portfolio and drive the cash management in the most optimal way.
• Responsible for the financial reporting and planning on project and portfolio level
• Financial scenario preparation: Provide financial scenarios on portfolio developments (e.g., risks, opportunities, prioritization)
• Project Accounting: Secure correct books and records at any time in accordance with existing guidelines and procedures
• Responsible to define, develop and implement the strategy for the portfolio
• Contract Management: Secure professional contract and claim management across all projects – drive key claim settlements
• Risk and Opportunity Management: Provide transparency and drive the project risk and opportunity portfolio including the non-conformance costs reporting
• Secure best-in-class team of CPMs & Project Controllers
• Ensure efficient and effective early involvement of Commercial Project Management during the Sales and Installation phase
What You Bring
• Bachelor or above degree in the field of economics, finance, business administration or similar.
• 10 years + financial experience, including 3-5 years of leadership experience with commercial project management, preferably within service sectors.
• Solid experience with PoC accounting
• Experience with customer negotiations is an advantage
• Strong English skills both orally and in writing
• Strong leadership skills with a keen interest in developing diverse teams
• Willingness to travel
• Good interpersonal skills and experience in working with people from different cultures and functions
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, collaborative with a global mindset
