A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Data Scientist (Machine learning Ops) you will be part of our Digital Services unit at Gas Services in Siemens Energy and work on challenging projects from all areas of the energy industry. Through combining strategic and business insights with the latest analytical techniques, you help our Business Units to drive maximum value from data and develop analytics solutions that provide strategic advantages in their day-to-day operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
● Work as a Subject Matter Expert in a global team, developing advanced analytics solutions across the value-chain.
● Create data mining architectures, models, protocols, and methodologies for statistical and data analysis to identify patterns in heterogeneous datasets.
● Design and develop AI concepts using research and latest trends to address customer challenges effectively.
● Apply tools and methods broadly across various business areas, ensuring versatility and impact.
● Stay updated on data science principles, theories, and techniques to support data-driven business decisions.
● Document and share methods, processes, and project results, regularly communicating and presenting findings as part of the ED&AA global team.
What You Bring
● Possess working knowledge and experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI, with expertise in AWS SageMaker.
● Skilled in serverless technologies (Python, .NET), data warehousing systems, and setting up target database systems.
● Demonstrate excellent analytical skills and expertise in statistical modeling, with strong programming skills in Python and/or R.
● Experience in deploying data analytics models using technologies like Docker and cloud services for data analytics is beneficial.
● Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and ability to navigate global, multicultural environments; industry-related experience is a plus.
● Passionate about data and analytics, driving data value across organizations, and excelling in team collaboration and multidisciplinary environments.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
