You combine a deep understanding of raw material markets in the energy sector, micro- and macroeconomic trends, with a structured, consulting-like approach—translating complexity into clear, actionable insights for the global Procurement community and key stakeholders.
You will monitor supply markets and act as a trusted advisor to Procurement (including senior leadership) and cross-functional stakeholders.
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Monitoring and assessment of global supply markets, including raw materials, with identification of market risks, opportunities, and strategic scenarios to support business resilience and competitiveness
  • Translation of market developments into actionable insights and business implications, enabling fact-based, data-driven decision-making across Procurement and the wider organization
  • Continuous development and enhancement of the Supply Market Intelligence framework, including strategic scenario planning, market monitoring methodologies, and reporting dashboards
  • Preparation and presentation of supply market intelligence to Procurement, senior management, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of key market developments and recommendations
  • Leadership of strategic market intelligence initiatives and integration of market insights into procurement and supply chain strategies, processes, and decision-making combined with coordination of global cross-functional collaboration
  • Implementation of digital, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance the effectiveness and scalability of Supply Market Intelligence
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive professional experience in Supply Market Intelligence, Strategy, Procurement, Consulting, or related industries, preferably within energy, utilities, mining, or industrial manufacturing
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and consulting capabilities, including structured problem-solving, hypothesis-driven thinking, and the translation of market insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Proven project leadership and stakeholder management expertise, including ownership of cross-functional initiatives and effective engagement with senior management and international stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences and foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong one-team mindset
  • Experience in digitalization, data analytics, and technology implementation within market intelligence or procurement environments, combined with fluency in English, international exposure, and willingness to travel internationally and domestically (approximately 10–20%)
About the Team
You will join a high-impact Supply Market Intelligence team within Corporate Procurement, shaping how Siemens Energy anticipates market developments and secures supply resilience. The team acts as a central intelligence and foresight hub, closely collaborating with the global Procurement community, Corporate Commodity Managers, and senior leadership to translate market complexity into actionable insights, strategic options, and measurable business impact.
