A Snapshot of Your Day
You will spend your day delivering both practical and theoretical training to production operatives, ensuring they are fully competent and compliant with safety, quality, and operational standards. This includes hands-on instruction, assessments, and supporting production teams with technical expertise, while continuously improving training materials and programmes in line with global standards and legislation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Deliver high-quality training and assessments to production operatives, ensuring competency in line with work instructions, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Develop and maintain training materials in collaboration with subject matter experts, ensuring alignment with global frameworks, ISO standards, and UK legislation
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, using data to improve programmes and support site KPIs, competence matrices, and right-first-time performance
- Support governance and compliance activities, including audits, safety initiatives (Take 5s), 5S standards, and process checks
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to provide technical support on the production floor, improving quality and reducing waste
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, structured problem solving, and implementation of process or engineering changes
- Support apprentices and entry-level talent through vocational training, safeguarding responsibilities, and competency-based assessments
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation using LMS systems and production tools (e.g. PRISMA, QSYS, Enablon)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance training strategies, improve operational performance, and support business objectives
What You Bring
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (blades or similar preferred), with strong understanding of safety and quality standards
- Proven ability to deliver training, assess competency, and support workforce development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive improvements and support KPIs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with LMS or training systems
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and take ownership of responsibilities
- Knowledge of business improvement methodologies and continuous improvement practices
