About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic Logistics team at the Power Transformers facility in Venezia, where your role is vital for ensuring business continuity. You will operate gas or electric-powered forklifts to efficiently move, stack, and position materials, parts, and finished goods throughout the facility. Imagine loading and unloading materials from trucks while adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining accurate records in our inventory management system. Your contributions will directly support our production lines and shipping schedules, making a significant impact on our operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will operate forklifts to move and position materials, ensuring efficient workflow within the facility.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, taking care to handle items properly to prevent damage.
- Perform order picking, packing, and staging of components to meet production and shipping timelines.
- Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse by placing materials in designated storage locations, including high-rise racks.
- Conduct daily safety inspections on forklifts and ensure compliance with all safety standards while maintaining a clean work environment.
What You Bring
- You hold a valid Forklift Operator License (Patentino Muletto) and have proven experience operating forklifts in an industrial setting.
- A high school diploma or equivalent vocational training is essential for this role.
- You possess strong technical abilities, including proficiency in inventory management systems and record-keeping.
- Your problem-solving skills and accountability make you a reliable team member committed to safety standards.
- Experience in quality control and the operation of power tools and hand tools is a plus.
