Sales Manager at Siemens Energy
You will be a key contributor to the company's success in the region, responsible for driving sales activities and fostering strong customer relationships. This role focuses on managing the entire sales lifecycle, from identifying market opportunities and developing business to preparing compelling proposals and closing deals within the energy sector. You will lead the end-to-end bid and proposal process, ensure all tenders and offers align with internal business processes and customer requirements

- This position requires close collaboration with internal teams, including legal and project execution units, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with a deep understanding of the power, engineering, or construction industry.
- You possess strong commercial acumen, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to translate complex technical information into customer-centric value propositions.
- Your professional judgment and analytical capabilities will be crucial for navigating complex contracts and making strategic bid decisions
- Manage key accounts and customer relationships to drive sales growth and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Develop sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Act as the primary voice of the customer internally to inform product and service strategy.
- Identify and develop new business and market opportunities, translating them into compelling value propositions.
- Lead the preparation of all necessary documents for the sales and bidding process, including contract analysis, risk evaluation, and bid/no-bid decisions.
- Manage the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring offers are compliant with company guidelines and customer requirements.
- Execute sales and proposal procedures to optimize productivity and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support the sales team on internal bid management processes and workflows.
- Oversee contract management and structuring for both internal and external business, including analysis, clarifications, and deviation management.
- Collaborate with the legal department to align contract terms and conditions, ensuring contractual risks are correctly identified and presented.
- Support contract finalization by providing commercial and sales-related input.
What You Bring
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical, Power, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of professional sales experience within the power, engineering, or construction industry.
