A Snapshot of Your Day

Bid Hub is Siemens Energy’s central digital platform supporting the end-to-end bid lifecycle, from bid preparation through negotiation to handover into execution.

This role is a Build & Operate role with equal accountability for Bid Hub applications and related data & analytics, ensuring both evolve together into a reliable, enterprise-grade platform.

The role ensures that Bid Hub workflows and supporting analytics are built, integrated, and operated as one coherent solution, covering application feature delivery, integrations, operational stability, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will act as the technical bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring that business requirements are translated into scalable and reliable digital solutions.


How You’ll Make an Impact

Build – Delivery & Solution Ownership

  • Support technical delivery of Bid Hub application capabilities such as project setup, scope handling, team and milestone management, and integrations.
  • Translate business requirements into implementable application logic and APIs.
  • Support integration of Bid Hub with Salesforce, CPQ, DMS, and downstream enterprise systems.
  • Support backlog refinement with clear technical implications and constraints.
  • Ensure consistency between business processes, application logic, and data structures.
  • Support delivery of backend data models, views, and consolidated datasets.
  • Help validate business-critical views such as requirements, schedules, scope, cost, and deviations.
  • Support analytics and dashboard delivery (Power BI) across DEV/UAT/PROD environments.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance and FAIR data principles.

Operate – Platform & Delivery Steering

  • Act as a technical point of contact across application, data, and integration teams.
  • Support daily and weekly coordination across development, data, and integration teams.
  • Help resolve or escalate issues related to application behavior, data correctness, access roles, deployments, and environment differences.
  • Validate functionality across DEV/UAT/PROD environments.
  • Support UAT, demos, and production readiness.
  • Maintain technical documentation including architecture, integrations, and key decisions.
  • Enable stakeholders and developers through documentation and knowledge transfer.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
  • 5–7 years of experience in software development, enterprise application support, or solution delivery.
  • Experience in IT projects with strong technical understanding.
  • Experience in enterprise solution architecture or application integrations.
  • Hands-on exposure to CRM systems such as Salesforce, CPQ, or similar pricing tools.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and business application workflows.
  • Experience working with data platforms, reporting tools, or analytics environments is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across management and developer communities.
  • Strong ownership mindset with willingness to learn and grow into the role.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of data governance or compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in pricing, bid management, or commercial process environments.
  • Exposure to analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled analytics or data products.

About the Team

You will join Siemens Energy’s digital bidding transformation team, supporting the evolution of Bid Hub as a strategic platform enabling global bid lifecycle excellence. The team focuses on integrating business processes, technical workflows, and data-driven insights to improve pricing transparency, delivery efficiency, and operational excellence.
