About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day (Position Overview)
- Identify, assess, and redesign manual finance processes to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, enhance data quality, and reduce reliance on spreadsheet-based workflows across key finance functions
- Develop, implement, and support automated solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, SAP-connected data sources, SharePoint, Power BI, and other approved technologies to create scalable and governed finance processes
- Partner with Finance, IT, FP&A, Cost Controlling, Business Excellence, and Data teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver process automation initiatives
- Support the automation and continuous improvement of core finance processes including forecasting, reconciliations, allocations, month-end close, record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash activities
- Design and maintain process documentation, workflow maps, testing evidence, user guides, training materials, control frameworks, and audit-ready documentation to support governance and compliance requirements
- Drive user adoption through training, issue resolution, change management activities, and ongoing enhancement of automation solutions while supporting the development of AI-enabled finance capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in finance transformation, finance systems, process automation, FP&A systems, controlling, accounting operations, analytics automation, or related digital transformation roles
- Strong knowledge of finance processes including forecasting, budgeting, reconciliations, month-end close, cost controlling, allocations, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, and financial reporting processes
- Experience developing or supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse), SharePoint, SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA, SQL, Power Query, DAX, and other automation or analytics technologies
- Strong analytical, process improvement, stakeholder management, documentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate finance requirements into scalable automation solutions and collaborate effectively across Finance, IT, Data, and business teams
