A Snapshot of Your Day

The employee is responsible to perform activities necessary to collect accounts receivable

and convert same to cash with assigned portfolio of accounts. This is also performed under

the supervision of the department manager. The employee is to be able to communicate

with internal and external customers in knowledgeable and organized fashion on the status

of the accounts and on the business’ Accounts Receivable position.

The position reports to the North America Cash Collection Manager.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Manages and collects assigned AR portfolio across multiple business units.
  • Research and reconcile customer accounts.
  • Complete routine collection calls to determine payment status of accounts, ensuring timely payment of receivables and resolution of customer issues preventing payment.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partners and customers to deliver best total customer experience.
  • Understand customer infrastructure, process, and identify appropriate contacts in

order to successfully address customer issues impacting payment performance.

  • Identify and document customer disputes. Identify root causes of delinquency.

What You Bring (requirements)

  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance.
  • Preferred 3+ years of business corporate collection experience
  • SAP experience / Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work with deadlines, prioritization, and organization of workload
  • Highly customer service oriented

About the Team

The Collection Department is responsible to collect Siemens Energy’s Accounts Receivable in a timely fashion while providing that service in a cooperative customer service environment. It is our responsibility to report the status and trends on eachbusiness unit’s Accounts Receivables to the management of those BU’s.
