A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Tax Accountant, you will support tax compliance, reporting, and operational tax activities across multiple Siemens Energy entities and jurisdictions. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of corporate income tax (CIT), value-added tax (VAT), and withholding tax (WHT) processes while maintaining compliance with local regulations and global tax policies.

Working within an international environment, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, tax authorities, and external advisors to support tax reporting, audits, reconciliations, and continuous process improvements across multiple countries.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Prepare and submit CIT, VAT, and WHT tax returns accurately and within required deadlines

• Perform monthly and annual VAT closing activities, reconciliations, and tax account monitoring

• Support tax compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions in the Middle East, Europe, and other regions

• Assist in withholding tax processes, including reporting, recovery, reimbursements, and compliance monitoring

• Extract, analyze, and validate tax-related data and reports for internal and external reporting purposes

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate tax postings within SAP

• Assist during tax audits and maintain complete and compliant documentation

• Coordinate with tax authorities, external advisors, and internal stakeholders as required

• Monitor regulatory changes and support assessments of their impact on business operations

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to tax operations, reporting processes, and compliance controls

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Tax specialization preferred)

• 2–4 years of experience in Tax Accounting, Tax Compliance, or Tax Advisory

• Experience within multinational organizations or Big 4 firms is highly preferred

• Good understanding of direct tax, indirect tax, and international tax principles

• Experience supporting multi-country tax operations is a strong advantage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis

• Experience working with SAP is considered an advantage

• Knowledge of tax reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance requirements

• Fluent English communication skills; Spanish is considered a plus
