How You’ll Make an Impact
- Supervise electrical erection contractors within your assigned scope to ensure project objectives, schedules, and quality standards are met.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site, actively promote safe working practices, and participate in safety briefings, audits, and inspections.
- Verify that electrical installations meet technical specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements; perform inspections and approve works in accordance with project documentation.
- Provide technical supervision across a wide range of electrical systems, including:
- Cable tray erection
- Pulling and termination of FO, I&C, LV, and MV cables
- Earthing and lightning protection
- Power Control Center and Central Control Room
- Switchgear installation (DC, LV, MV), GEAFOL transformer, I&C cabinets
- Small power and lighting
- Oil-filled transformers
- Isolated phase bus duct and generator circuit breaker
- Instrumentation (common part / HRSG)
- Gas and steam turbine instrumentation
- Other relevant electrical systems
- Manage interfaces between contractors, engineering teams, customers and third parties to resolve technical and organizational issues efficiently.
- Review method statements and risk assessments provided by contractors for compliance with site regulations and work permit procedures.
- Identify and report deficiencies, initiating project-specific solutions using defined processes and tools.
- Provide input on lessons learned to support continuous improvement in future projects.
What You Bring
- Electrical education/background.
- Extensive experience in installing electrical systems on large industrial construction sites, with strong technical expertise in power plant construction; international experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to live and work abroad for extended periods (6 months – 1.5 years per project).
- Strong teamwork skills, diligence, high level of self-initiative and flexibility; additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills and the ability to guide teams effectively.
- Fluent English in both written and spoken form; German language skills are an advantage.
- Valid passport and driving license.
