- Steer the cross-functional commodity council.
- Participate in project and sales meetings to provide early procurement market insights and preferred supplier information to optimize supplier selection.
- Prepare award negotiations using innovative purchasing strategies to achieve optimal results in terms of cost, quality, and project goals.
- Develop sub-suppliers and partners for both local and global markets, coordinating the interface between internal and external partners.
- Play a significant role in contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key business stakeholders to establish yourself as an accepted business partner while contributing to the implementation of efficient processes and adhering to procurement regulations, compliance standards (e.g., contract law, social insurance law, Purchase-to-Pay processes), and ProjectManagement@SiemensEnergy.
- Master’s degree in industrial engineering and / or successfully completed technical training or comparable experience
- Several years of experience within procurement functions and strategies as well as project management in the energy transmission industry
- Professional level for contract law for work / social insurance law / service contracts and commissioning / supervision / construction site specialists as well as Engineering Services and R&D contract drafting with Third-Party-companies incl. Public Law with Institutions and Universities
- As a strategical thinker you work with high credibility and integrity and build trust with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
- As a creative problem-solver you are driven by a results-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German
