- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales growth for Distribution Transformers within the region.
- Focus on developing and expanding the customer base to drive revenue.
- Collaborate with the broader Siemens-Energy APAC Sales Team to contribute to the overall sales strategy.
- Implement the sales strategy effectively to meet organizational goals.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and strong business acumen in all sales activities.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
- Directly engage with consultants and EPC’s to help understand the future projects in feasibility stage and assist in influencing future specifications for such projects.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline through generating new business opportunities – always using best practice when utilising sales tools such as CRM.
- Clearly document and manage the bidding and pricing strategy with other Regional Sales Managers in collaboration with factories.
- Actively participate in the customer negotiation and project handover process to factories and conduct win/loss analysis to improve future performance.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients and partners across APAC countries and Industry Verticals.
- Act as the specialist point of contact for potential clients within the Verticals, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Coordinate agents in the region, setting business goals, and ensuring these objectives are met.
- Provide guidance and support to agents to achieve regional sales targets.
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related role.
- Deep knowledge and selling experience in the Infrastructure and Data Centre Industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build plan around achieving sales targets.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm to travel and meet clients face to face while building a deep understanding of market trends and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Experience in generating and managing a pipeline of opportunities in order to achieve budget.
- Manage bidding and pricing strategies, customer negotiations, and handover processes.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners.
