About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
This role is responsible for overseeing all activities within the Siemens Energy Tools Center Technical & Operations team, in alignment with the Long-Term Program.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Prepare assigned event-related consignments before the target date, and perform visual inspection, functional verification, and calibration validity checks on the complete consignment.
- Fill and refill all required items in engineering containers, tool kits, and special tooling kits, and inspect kits returned from site, create damage lists, replenish, and prepare them for the next job.
- Develop SOPs and inspection checklists for tools and special kits, and support standardization of tooling containers and kits with bill of material control.
- Prepare purchase requests, maintain tracker sheets, update Order Management on deviations, and collaborate with suppliers and vendors for ordering, servicing, and calibration of equipment and tools in alignment with Order Management and Tooling Finance.
- Review outgoing and incoming shipment dates in the Order Tracking Sheet, support tooling quotations, and update kit inventory in TCTP for operational needs.
- Identify tooling readiness risks and recommend repairs, replacements, or replenishments based on inspection findings and job requirements, assist in yearly inventory activities, and carry out additional responsibilities assigned by the tooling supervisor.
What You Bring
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical tooling facility management.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, with a detail-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and coordinate team actions with a customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel to sites on short notice and flexibility to accommodate varying working hours as required.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
