A Snapshot of Your Day
The SE Vulnerability Management Specialist is responsible for identifying, assessing, reporting and assisting in resolving vulnerabilities within Siemens Energy's IT and OT environments. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure the security and integrity of systems and data.
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments to identify security weaknesses in SE IT environments.
  • Analyze scan results, troubleshoot failures, and support business in interpreting findings; ability to deal with high amounts of vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, asset managers, and external providers to remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Prioritize and coordinate resolution of critical threats, especially those marked “EMERGENCY.”
  • Maintain records of assessments and ensure compliance with security and product governance standards.
What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
  • Experience in vulnerability management and cybersecurity, with deep knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus and normal ticketing workflow.
  • Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective remediation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and fluency both in English (C1) and German (C1).
