You will be working with Omnivise Asset Management System OAM, Siemens Energy’s proprietary modular software suite to support all power plant core processes and domains. The emphasis in this job will be on the OAM Reliability Management application which offers a toolbox to develop optimized maintenance strategies based on Reliability Centered Maintenance principles to our customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze customer specifications and conceptual engineering for the Omnivise Asset Management system, including contract evaluation and project boundary conditions.
- Present the Omnivise Asset Management system to potential customers and participate in workshops, providing solution consulting on functionality, asset criticality analysis, and asset hierarchy.
- Set up project execution schedules and implement systems in accordance with ISO 55001 standards, adapting Siemens Energy’s asset template library to customer needs.
- Analyze existing plant maintenance strategies and adapt statistical asset models to the customer environment, including training models with historical data.
- Check existing documentation (e.g., P&IDs, DCS catalogues) and map to asset model templates, engineering data acquisition from customer DCS or historians.
- Configure asset performance management calculations, define and implement Asset Health Index, and create check sheets for operator rounds, along with customer training.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical) with 3-4 years of experience in maintenance or operations in power plants or oil and gas facilities.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance strategy development, FMEA, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and mathematical algorithms for diagnosis and optimization.
- Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), data historians, IT systems (CMMS, MS Office), and network components/protocols.
- Basic software engineering skills (programming, SQL, GIT) and project management skills, along with troubleshooting abilities.
- Fluent in English and willing to travel 10-20%, with experience working in international teams.
