A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Service Operations Manager, you will oversee an Operation & Maintenance (O&M) service project in Argentina, ensuring adherence to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements while being accountable for financial results. Your role will be pivotal in managing the O&M Services Contract, aligning with key performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environment Standards, including our commitment to Zero Harm.

How You’ll Make an Impact

· Project Management Excellence: Adhere to Siemens Energy Project Management guidelines, deploying all & specific methods to optimally achieve project goals. This includes planning, controlling, reporting, claim management, risk management, and stakeholder management. Also ensuring the successful execution of O&M deliverables within the agreed time, quality, and cost parameters & adhering to Siemens Energy Business Conduct Guidelines.

· Resource Coordination: Oversee the overall planning of the project, making decisions on resource allocation. For new contracts, collaborate with O&M plant staff to implement project schedules and processes, monitor milestones, and ensure budget adherence. Initiate actions to minimize non-conformance costs when necessary and manage the Quarterly Project Review process for O&M projects.

· Outage Planning Leadership: Lead the TMS process for outage planning, determining the necessary parts for CT, ST, Generator, and BOP (Siemens Energy scope of supply). Track parts status to ensure timely availability for outages, and ensure accurate delivery of all parts, both new and repaired. You will also be responsible for accurate projections of purchases and repairs of Program Parts.

· Business Development: Contributes to organizational growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities. May be involved in the negotiation and planning of new projects to ensure the achievement of the project goals at an early stage. Assist Marketing in negotiating new contracts.

· Technical Guidance and Communication: Provides technical guidance to customers and/or Plant staff. Manage the day-to-day communications with the customer, including clear and comprehensive reporting of events, plant status, key performance indicators and plant improvement initiatives. Coordinates with the O&M Technical Support group and plant staff for quick resolution of technical issues. Maintains constant communication with customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.

· Continuous Improvement: Seek process improvements through automation and digitization, fostering a culture of innovation within the team. Conduct lessons learned sessions and share insights to enhance organizational learning and efficiency.

What You Bring

● Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electronic, Electrical or Industrial).

● Ideally more than 10 years of experience in the field of Power Generation, with knowledge of Thermal Cycles.

● At least 5 years of experience in project management roles, with a strong understanding of O&M processes.

● Project Management certification (preferred)

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills Validated knowledge of SE Technology SGT5-4000F, SST5-5000 & T3000.

● Excellent communication skills in English.
