To achieve this, the role will concentrate on three core areas: EHS Program Standardization, Compliance and Risk Management, and Training and Continuous Improvement. These activities will ensure consistent application of safety standards, support key initiatives, and drive performance across O&M sites in Argentina and Brazil.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide direct support to on-site O&M teams in the implementation of key programs and initiatives, ensuring effective and aligned execution.
  • Adapt and deploy corporate EHS programs to meet local site and regulatory requirements, ensuring full compliance across locations.
  • Conduct EHS audits and inspections and manage compliance processes, identifying gaps against legal, corporate, and industry standards.
  • Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Deliver EHS training and analyze performance metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities, promoting a strong safety culture.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably within industrial, energy, or O&M environments.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, EHS audits, and implementation of standards (including ISO 14000 series).
  • Hands-on experience in risk assessment, Job Safety Analysis, and occupational hygiene programs.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, including incident investigation and root cause analysis with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to develop EHS programs, reporting, and training, with strong influencing skills to engage operational teams.
  • English and Portuguese proficiency will be considered a plus.
