In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving our EHS strategy, bringing policies to life, ensuring compliance with global standards, and proactively eliminating risks before they ever stand a chance. From planning to completion, you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with project teams to create safe, sustainable environments where innovation thrives and people come first.

If you’re passionate about making a real impact, love solving complex challenges, and believe that zero harm is the only goal, this is your moment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support project management in defining and integrating EHS roles, responsibilities, and contractual requirements across customer and contractor agreements
  • Develop and maintain the project-specific EHS management system, including health & safety plans, environmental plans, and emergency response strategies
  • Ensure all EHS permits, authorizations, and certifications are in place; communicate requirements to stakeholders and provide guidance to site EHS teams
  • Monitor and drive contractor EHS performance, including risk assessments, documentation reviews, evaluations, and escalation of non-compliance
  • Lead EHS reporting, investigations, and analytics by tracking KPIs, analyzing incidents and trends, implementing corrective actions, and sharing lessons learned

What You Bring

  • Higher technical education (civil, electrical, mechanical, or environmental engineering) with accredited EHS certification; strong understanding of diverse business environments
  • 2-8+ years processing information, develop alternatives, pursue goals, manage setbacks, and apply structured approaches to risk assessment, incident investigation, and continuous improvement. More years of experience can be considered at a higher level.
  • EHS management, occupational safety, environmental protection, emergency preparedness, audits, permit-to-work systems, and integration of EHS into project management and business processes
  • Strong digital and IT skills with the ability to leverage data analytics and technologies to enhance EHS performance, reporting, and innovation
  • Management and coordination skills, acts as EHS key contact for site teams, ensures incidents are reported/investigated, promotes best practice sharing and lessons learned, and drives compliance and a proactive safety culture
  • Strong communication, intercultural awareness, relationship-building, and ability to influence across diverse teams and cultures
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
