Imagine stepping into a dynamic role where you manage and coordinate offshore substation platform projects. As a Deputy Platform Package Manager, you’ll engage with potential offshore fabricators, eModules, and internal engineering designers, driving the tendering and project development phases for AC offshore substation and AC technology for the UK and Ireland market. You’ll be at the forefront of Siemens Energy’s cutting-edge Transmission Solutions, offering EPC or turnkey solutions that connect power from generation to the grid. Based in Manchester, UK, you’ll collaborate with teams in Hamburg 10% of the time to deliver innovative DC projects, while honing your skills in stakeholder management and strategic planning.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Coordinate with offshore fabricators, eModules, and internal designers during tendering and project development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, articulating scope and strategy.
  • Collaborate with lead design engineers and manage internal stakeholders, including procurement and quality teams.
  • Engage with clients, certification bodies, and marine insurers to ensure project success.
  • Train in key contractual terms and manage frequent, short trips for tenders and construction yard visits.

  • Experience in developing strategic documentation.

Join a team dedicated to delivering turnkey AC Grid Access projects for the UK market. Our Manchester-based team collaborates closely with colleagues in Hamburg to develop and deliver DC technology solutions.
