How to contribute to our vision

To support business growth and digital initiatives within Siemens Energy's Gas Services division, this role is being added to the Digital Operations team to provide increased capacity and address extended team responsibilities. As a Senior Professional, this position is critical for leveraging data to drive process transformation. To achieve these objectives, this role focuses on three core areas: Data Analysis & Insight Generation, Process Automation & Improvement, and Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement. This structure ensures the position will not only analyze data to find actionable insights but also actively improve and automate data workflows, and manage analytics projects from conception to delivery. Given the focus on analytics and automation, the ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and significant experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and process automation. Proficiency with tools like SQL, Python, and BI platforms (Tableau/Power BI) is essential, along with the ability to manage projects independently and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• 50% Data Analysis & Insight Generation
  • Analyze complex datasets from various business systems to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business growth.
  • Develop and apply statistical models to answer critical business questions and support data-driven decision-making in digital initiatives.
  • Design and build compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• 30% Process Automation & Improvement
  • Use your experience to analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Design, develop, and implement automated data pipelines and scripts using languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes within the Digital Business Process Transformation framework.
• 20% Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Manage data analytics projects independently, from defining requirements with business stakeholders to the final delivery of solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support for strategic business objectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data analytics, providing guidance and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in process optimization, data analysis, business intelligence or related industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing data projects and working independently on complex problems in a corporate environment.
• International working experience preferred!
