A Snapshot of Your Day

The Crane Management Specialist supports the execution of crane and heavy lift operations by providing technical review, procurement coordination, data analysis, and documentation support. This role ensures that crane-related activities are accurate, compliant, and efficiently executed. Working closely with the Crane Management Lead and cross-functional teams, the Specialist plays a key role in validating technical requirements, supporting vendor engagement, and maintaining project documentation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

· Support RFQ processes by coordinating requirements and vendor communication

· Assist with supplier onboarding, audits, and compliance activities

· Maintain strong working relationships with approved crane vendors

· Provide supporting data and analysis for commercial evaluations

· Review crane packages to ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements

· Analyze lift plans and crane configurations to validate accuracy and completeness

· Support the Lead in ensuring the correct crane and configuration are selected for each job

· Prepare detailed, apples-to-apples bid comparisons across vendor proposals

· Support planning, scheduling, and execution of crane-related scopes with project teams

· Track project status and maintain up-to-date records

· Participate in planning meetings and provide technical input as needed

· Assist in resolving technical or operational challenges

· Assist with invoice review and cost validation

· Maintain trackers and perform data analysis to support decision-making

· Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization

· Maintain and update crane package templates

· Ensure all project documentation is organized, accurate, and audit-ready

· Support adherence to safety policies and regulatory requirements

· Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies

· Support development of work instructions and best practices

What You Bring

· 2+ years of experience in crane operations, heavy lift environments, or technical project support

· Ability to read and interpret crane lift plans and technical documentation

· Working knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and safety compliance standards

· Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Strong organizational and communication skills
