A Snapshot of Your Day
The purpose of the Hub Operations role is to support the Hub Head in the development and implementation of overarching strategic and operational tasks. It involves the bundling of resources and central provision of selected tasks, thus leading to increased efficiency and professionalization within the regional hub. Furthermore, the Head of Hub Operations ensures the global requirements of SE RE are met and translated into local conditions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Lead and manage multiple real estate and construction projects (e.g., fit-out, extensions, maintenance), including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution via internal teams or external partners
  • Monitor project performance (cost, timeline, quality), identify risks and obstacles, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery in compliance with internal standards and legal/EHS requirements
  • Manage external vendors and service providers, including tendering, contracting, performance tracking, and integration of deliverables into overall project plans
  • Act as the key interface between the regional hub and global real estate organization, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, governance, and strategic initiatives
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements, digitalization, automation, and the implementation of sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across the real estate portfolio
  • Lead and develop a team of real estate professionals (e.g., project, asset, and transaction managers), while supporting strategic topics such as site selection, workspace concepts, reporting, and transaction management (lease, purchase, disposal)
What You Bring
  • Long-term professional experience in Corporate Real Estate (CRE) management with a strong focus on project and construction management, combined with a solid educational background (Bachelor’s or MBA in Real Estate Management or similar; project management certification is a plus)
  • Deep expertise in CRE, including asset and property management, leasing, portfolio optimization, and construction management, with strong technical knowledge of building systems, processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong financial acumen with proven experience in business case evaluation, financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting at global and/or regional level
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence decisions, negotiate effectively, and manage conflicts in an international, multicultural environment
  • Excellent command of German and English
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities, driving innovation, process optimization, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the real estate portfolio. High level of accountability, compliance, and safety awareness, combined with expertise in vendor and contract management, risk management, sustainability, and the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
