Join our dynamic Field Service Onshore team in Milan, Italy, as a Gas Turbine Specialist and play a pivotal role in expanding our central hub’s operational capacity. You’ll dive into hands-on technical field service, expertly maintaining and repairing gas turbines, while also providing crucial operational support through documentation and mentorship. Your day will be a blend of addressing immediate customer needs and nurturing junior team members, ensuring both short-term success and long-term growth. With your extensive experience in electromechanical systems, you’ll lead daily operations, tackling non-routine technical challenges with confidence and minimal supervision.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Install, configure, and calibrate gas turbines and electromechanical systems at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex malfunctions, applying your advanced troubleshooting skills to maintain system reliability.
  • Execute preventive maintenance and intricate repairs, guided by engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Lead on-site operations in non-routine situations, mentoring lower-level technicians to uphold quality and safety standards.
  • Provide comprehensive on-site training for customer personnel, enhancing their understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.

What You Bring

  • Vocational training or an Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Technology is preferred.
  • Extensive hands-on experience as a Field Service Technician, ideally with gas turbines or similar heavy rotating equipment.
  • Proven ability to work independently, lead daily operations, and solve complex technical problems.
  • Expertise in electromechanics, mechanics, and electrical systems, with strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in using engineering drawings, power tools, and test equipment.
