- Technical counterpartship to Corporate Commodity Management for commodity strategy development, supplier identification, early supplier involvement, and technology scouting and implementation in Machined Parts commodity
- Establishment and transfer of state-of-the-art manufacturing technology expertise, methods, and processes across all Siemens Energy business areas and support business areas with expertise where needed.
- Development and implementation of global commodity technology roadmaps and technological improvement measures for Machined Parts
- Execution of supplier capability assessments, supplier qualification audits, management system approvals, and implementation of global quality assurance agreements for strategic suppliers
- Identification and harmonization of manufacturing, material, and cost drivers as well as technical specifications to enable high-performing global supply chains
- Technical leadership in supplier development, strategic issue resolution, and manufacturing/material technology expertise within the Siemens Energy supply chain for Machined Parts
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline combined with relevant senior-level professional experience
- Extensive Professional expertise in supplier quality management, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, or procurement
- Demonstrated experience in supplier qualification (lead auditor preferred), product and process qualification, and technical supplier development for globally competitive and quality-assured supply chains
- Project management experience and leadership of international cross-functional and virtual teams with an ownership mindset and strong stakeholder skills.
- International mobility and willingness to travel globally up to 30%
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
