About the Role
- Maintain, update, and control the BMS in line with business needs and ISO standards, ensuring performance is monitored, measured, and reported with clear visibility of risks and gaps
- Develop and enhance the BMS by integrating improvements and relevant technologies to ensure ongoing suitability and effectiveness.
- Plan and execute the internal audit programme across ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, including process, compliance, and risk-based audits
- Produce audit reports, communicate findings, support certification audits, and manage corrective actions through to timely closure
- Identify improvement opportunities, support root cause analysis, and lead or contribute to initiatives that strengthen efficiency, risk management, and customer satisfaction
- Promote a strong quality and safety culture by coaching teams, facilitating workshops, and collaborating across functions to ensure aligned and integrated compliance
- Degree (or equivalent qualification) in a related discipline
- IRCA Lead Auditor qualification; extensive ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 auditing experience.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in quality roles (e.g. Quality Manager, Quality/Systems Engineer) within highly regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of management systems, including document control and compliance frameworks
- Stakeholder engagement across all levels; experience working with third parties and external bodies
- Root cause analysis (RCA), Lean awareness, continuous improvement expertise; Chartered Quality status (or working towards) and CDM awareness
