A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Support Professional in the Gas Services Central Organization, there is no such thing as a typical day. After all, you’ll be supporting the project team in implementing the customer contract for the supply of key equipment and services for a large gas turbine, steam turbine, or combined cycle power plant. From responding to customer requests to collaborating with other departments, there’s a lot to be done before the plant goes commercial.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support the Project Manager in ensuring projects are properly structured, organized, and managed, enabling the internal organization to successfully deliver engineering, procurement, and manufacturing activities.
• Help resolve issues that arise during project execution to minimize impacts to both Siemens Energy and the customer.
• Support the Project Teams in meeting contractual obligations and ensuring deliverables are completed in accordance with customer and contract requirements.
• Contribute across multiple projects, supporting activities such as manual coordination efforts, spare parts administration, assembling data packages for recoveries from external partners, and assisting with overages, shortages, and damages at site.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical or related field. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of project management related experience for power plants and power generating equipment, or equivalent for large industrial engineering and construction projects.
• Working knowledge of relevant technical and engineering disciplines involved in the design, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning of gas turbine power plants is an advantage.
• Strong ability to multi‑task and work under pressure, collaborate effectively in a team‑oriented environment, and communicate relevant technical and financial information.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
