Join our dynamic SiETAC Assembly Center team as an I&C Controls Test Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in testing and validating instrumentation and control systems. Imagine developing and implementing testing procedures that ensure our systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement, as you stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, making a significant impact on our operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will develop and implement testing procedures to verify the functionality and performance of I&C systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or defects in the control systems.
- Ensure that all I&C systems meet industry standards and Siemens Energy quality requirements through rigorous quality assurance processes.
- Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and modifications, preparing comprehensive reports on system performance and solutions implemented.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of I&C systems.
What You Bring
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field; or an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience; or a High School Diploma with 2 or more years of experience.
- You have at least 1 year of experience in testing and validating I&C systems, with proven troubleshooting skills in control systems.
- A strong understanding of instrumentation and control system principles and components is essential.
- You are proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and documentation skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, are key to your success.
