About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
This position is an addition to the team to address extended responsibilities, creating a hybrid role within the Offer Management Voltage Regulator group in Jackson. The primary business need is to combine hands-on electronics expertise for a strategic control system project with ERP system administration to ensure business continuity. To meet these objectives, this role is structured around two core areas: Electronics Engineering Technology and ERP Systems Management. The first focuses on the assembly, repair, and testing of electronic components, particularly for a new voltage regulator control system. The second involves daily SAP order processing and leading the team's migration to newer ERP platforms like SAP S4E. Given the focus on these dual responsibilities, the ideal candidate will possess practical experience in repairing microcircuits and control boards, coupled with a detailed knowledge of SAP ERP systems. This role requires an individual who can work independently on technical challenges and also guide colleagues through system transitions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Diagnose, assemble, test, and repair electronic control boards and microcircuits for voltage regulator control systems using schematics, engineering drawings, and advanced test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes).
- Provide hands-on technical support for strategic development projects, identifying potential failure modes in new control systems and implementing design or component-level improvements.
- Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment, ensuring strict compliance with electrical safety protocols for both high- and low-voltage work.
- Perform daily order entry, processing, and reporting activities within the SAP ERP system to support Offer Management and operational workflows.
- Lead the transition from legacy SAP systems (PT2) to SAP S4E, ensuring data integrity, process continuity, and successful user adoption.
- Serve as the ERP subject matter expert, delivering user guidance and training while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to evolve system functionality and meet changing business needs.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Assess 3PL handling of Siemens inventory. Monitor 3PL KPI and escalate trends as necessary.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field preferred; alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated experience in electronics repair and ERP systems will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in a directly related field with hands-on microcircuit repair, including troubleshooting, control systems, and use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience working with SAP ERP systems (PT2/S4E), supporting production, maintenance, or repair processes.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagnose complex electronic issues, and apply structured problem-solving techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies within manufacturing or repair environments.
- Strong accountability, analytical thinking, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and operational teams.
