Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Systems Engineer in Orlando, FL to provide technical input/expertise to support active proposal and negotiations through definition of scope and risk.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Run detailed performance models to evaluate impact of potential upgrades on LGTs.
  • Run performance evaluations on LGT units to determine any opportunities for optimization/ improvement.
  • Execute performance testing on LGT units.
  • Coordinate scope with multiple different organizations.
  • 20% domestic travel required.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience.
  • Will accept a Master’s degree and 0 years of experience.
  • Experience or coursework must include: Large Gas Turbine (LGT) thermal performance evaluations or LGT thermodynamic principals;
  • Heat balance analysis;
  • Fundamental understanding of thermodynamic, aerodynamic, and fluid mechanic engineering principles;
  • Analyze complex gas turbine systems/data to optimize performance/efficiency and to identify performance trends; and
  • Excel.
  • 20% domestic travel required.
