About the Role
- Identify and drive initiatives to improve the quality of coatings for hot gas components produced by our suppliers
- Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize processes, reduce non-conformance costs, and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive improvements and to reach milestones
- Lead initiatives to reduce costs and delivery times at external suppliers
- Contribution to overall operational efficiency and supporting
- Provide input to technology roadmap to ensure positioning our products for future success
- A degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in quality methodologies, thermal spray process (LPPS, LVPS, APS, HVOF), basic knowledge in drilling processes (laser, FHEDM), welding (laser, WIG), brazing and manufacturing management
- A strong background in working with cross-functional teams, particularly in turbine hot gas parts
- Project management expertise, strong organizational skills, and critical thinking abilities
- Fluency in English; willingness to learn German; additional languages is a plus
- Intercultural competence and readiness for approximately 25% travel
