Siemens Energy (SE) “Digital Products and Solutions” team (DPS) supports all SE Business Areas in their growth of their digital business.

We consult, design and develop tailored solutions for the customer market, based on their specific technical and commercial constraints.

Our second mission is to professionalize, automate and standardize SE software development.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress, allowing them to focus on delivering high-value increments.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and principles, enhancing their skills and promoting self-organization within the team.
  • Track project progress and team performance using relevant metrics, providing visibility to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and management, ensuring clear communication regarding project status, risks, and dependencies.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to engage effectively with development teams, understanding challenges and facilitating discussions that lead to solutions.
  • Responsible for the delivery of software applications
  • Ability to work as Scrum master on the software project using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe)
  • Manage technical and business stakeholders
  • Manage the project risks.

What You Bring

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and software architecture.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
  • Previous experience as a software developer or in a technical role is highly preferred to ensure understanding of technical challenges faced by the team.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple Agile teams effectively while managing competing priorities.
  • Deep Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework
  • Continuous improvement and process-oriented mindset
  • Handson technical experience as Developer, DevOps.
  • A curious and passionate approach to problem-solving, building, and self-improvement.
  • Accountability for outcomes, commitment to delivering high-quality results in a reliable manner.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional product teams and engage directly with clients.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach.
  • A customer-centric, open-minded attitude with a commitment to continuous skill development.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to operate effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Ability to manage the international team working remote

In the central Digital Products and Solutions (DPS) organization, our Software Application and Engineering department is responsible for developing software solutions for both internal and external customers.

In DPS, our software products already cover a wide range of categories, and we see many opportunities for growth: Asset Performance Management, Energy Management, Asset Monitoring, Asset Health Prediction, Customer Portal & AI-assisted Applications, Connectivity & Edge, Backend Core / Domain / Platform Services, and Professional Services.
