A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Manufacturing Specialist, Level 2, you will work hands‑on in a safe, climate‑controlled manufacturing environment to build high‑quality turbine generator components. Your day includes assembling and fabricating parts, using a variety of tools and machinery, and ensuring each component meets strict quality standards. You’ll collaborate with teammates who take pride in craftsmanship and contribute to a long‑standing tradition of excellence in our Fort Payne facility!

How You’ll Make an Impact

Perform hands‑on assembly, fabrication, and manufacturing of turbine generator components.

Use a variety of hand tools and machinery to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure precision and consistency.

Conduct quality inspections to verify products meet specifications and standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting team production goals.

What You Bring

High school diploma/GED is required; technical training or manufacturing certifications are a plus.

2+ years of experience in a hands‑on manufacturing or assembly role, ideally within the energy or industrial sector is preferred.

Skilled in operating hand tools and machinery with strong mechanical aptitude.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.

Effective problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
