A Snapshot of Your Day
This position is created to reinforce the team and manage an expanded scope of responsibilities within the Transformers Order Execution unit for Latin America. The position will provide critical operational support in Quality and EHS matters, directly assisting the Project Quality Manager through the execution, monitoring, and control of operational activities, supporting the maintenance, control, and continuous improvement of quality standards across regional projects. To fulfill this business need, the position will focus on four main areas: 1) the operational management and follow-up of the non-conformities (NC) lifecycle; 2) operational and documentary support to the integrated management system, including participation in and execution of internal audits, support during external audits, and management reviews; 3) alignment, monitoring, and verification of the implementation of the EHS program, covering compliance with project-specific EHS requirements as well as participation in incident investigations; and4) general operational support to Quality and EHS processes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Analyze existing business processes within the Order Execution lifecycle to identify inefficiencies, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
· Apply quality improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to design and implement process enhancements.
· Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and develop effective corrective and preventive action plans.
· Support the planning and execution of internal audits based on ISO 9001 standards and report on findings to ensure compliance; ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for all quality audits, process improvement projects, and EHS-related activities
· Develop and maintain clear process documentation, including process flowcharts, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
· Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures across Latin American operations; collect and report on key quality and EHS performance indicators (KPIs) for the Latin America region
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 2-5 years of professional experience in quality management, business process improvement, or a similar operational role.
· Experience working in a multi-country or regional capacity, preferably within Latin America.
· Certification on Six Sigma Green Belt and ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification.
· Fluent in English. Portuguese is desirable
· Proficiency in office tools and corporate platforms (such as SharePoint, Forms, Power BI, among others)
· Compentences: Collaboration, Analytical skills, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Audit skills.
