Join our dynamic team at Siemens Energy as a Proposal Engineer in Łódź, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy. Imagine developing innovative proposals for projects worldwide, focusing on cutting-edge Reciprocating Compressors that are essential for the green hydrogen energy transition. You will engage with clients, review technical specifications, and collaborate with various internal and external teams to create optimized solutions. Your contributions will not only enhance our service delivery but also support our mission towards a sustainable energy future.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Work on Customer Request for Quotation (RFQ) to develop proposals, including:

• Review of RFQ documentation and providing comments on the Customer’s Technical Specifications
• Selection of compressor equipment, including drivers and auxiliary systems
• Configuration and development of optimized technical solutions, including sub-supplier equipment, cost analysis, and pricing preparation

Collaboration and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including:

• Cooperation with regional coordination groups, operational departments, and field service organizations
• Engagement and negotiation with key sub-suppliers to develop mutually beneficial client solutions
• Execution of the Risk Analysis and Management process

Support to the Sales Manager, including:

• Driving the energy transition through early client engagement and technical support, ensuring optimal positioning of Siemens Energy solutions
• Development of technical and commercial strategies, including integration of products, services, and vendor-supplied equipment into regional proposals
• Preparation and delivery of project or product presentations, as well as coordination and participation in client clarification meetings

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential
• Experience or educational background in the design, specification, or operation of rotating machinery is an advantage; applications from recent graduates are also welcome
• Working knowledge of German is an advantage
• Positive, resilient, and cooperative attitude
• Strong team player with excellent communication, problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking skills
• Availability and willingness to start a permanent position in Łódź
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support training, project presentations, bid clarification, and project kick-off meetings
