About the Role
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as a trusted Finance Business Partner to Tooling Centers, supporting day-to-day operations and long-term strategy while advising stakeholders across operational and leadership levels.
- Partner with Tooling Capital Coordinators and operational leaders to drive financial planning, performance tracking, and execution, providing proactive insights and challenging assumptions.
- Lead financial evaluation of tooling investments, including business cases, CAPEX planning, prioritization, and post-investment reviews to ensure alignment with Service Operations strategy.
- Oversee tooling asset management, including Assets Under Construction (AuC), capitalization, depreciation, and compliance with RIC controls and internal governance requirements.
- Own financial oversight of tooling spend, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and variance analysis; deliver actionable insights through cost reporting and leadership presentations.
- Act as the primary Finance partner for SESI, supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance with financial guidelines (FRGs), and delivering ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions and audits.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in controlling, cost management, or operational finance.
- Proven experience in finance business partnering with strong stakeholder engagement, combined with excellent analytical and communication skills to translate financial insights for non-finance audiences.
- Solid understanding of CAPEX, asset accounting, tooling/equipment financials, and internal control frameworks, with hands-on experience in SAP (CO, FI; MM preferred) and advanced Excel skills managing complex datasets.
- High level of ownership and integrity, with the ability to operate independently and drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
