How You’ll Make an Impact

  • As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
  • As a Repair Engineer at the Egypt Service Center, you will take on a Product Engineering Owner role for Blades and Vanes, one of the most critical and technically demanding components in gas turbine repair.
  • This role offers hands-on exposure to the full repair lifecycle—from technical assessment and repair concept definition to qualification, execution, and continuous improvement—working closely with repair operations, quality, and global engineering teams.
  • You will contribute directly to localizing and expanding blades and vanes repair capabilities in Egypt, supporting advanced welding, inspection, and refurbishment technologies while ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy engineering standards.
  • Through real projects and daily shop-floor interaction, the program builds strong product ownership, engineering judgment, and collaboration skills, preparing you to grow into a future technical leader within Siemens Energy’s regional repair network.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline with strong fundamentals in mechanics and manufacturing
  • Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
  • A master's or doctoral degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
  • Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
