About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Our team is now looking for a combine role within Instrumentation with focus on functional safety who will be a key part of our plants in Gas Turbine projects. As part of our team, you will work with customers & projects from all over the world in the energy and oil & gas sector to ensure deliveries and provide support when needed.
Your main responsibilities will be to work on plant project within gas turbine business, ensuring that they meet customer specification and comply with technical standards and regulations.
We are looking for a person with engineering education with a focus on electrical, measurement technology, automation, or equivalent work experience. Good communication skills, so you can collaborate with customers and team members from different parts of the world.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- The work is conducted in project form and includes assessment of our projects, project customization of instrumentation, customer meetings, supplier meeting & internal improvement within the area.
- The position involves a high degree of collaboration with other disciplines such as electrical and mechanical engineers, R&D.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
- Work proactively with risk assessment activities in project environments, including HAZOP and LOPA studies.
- Perform risk assessments including Risk Matrixes, Risk Graphs, and LOPA
- Execute SIL calculations and contribute to SIS valuations.
- Use the ExSILentia tool for safety lifecycle management and SIL verification.
What You Bring
- Engineering education with a focus on electrical, measurement technology, automation or experience working with control systems Siemens PCS7 or T3000.
- Experience, understanding or strong interest in process development, ways of working, Standards for Safety (IEC61508/61511) and functional safety.
- Experiance & understanding of instrumentation, SIL, and safety-related systems
- Experience working with risk analysis methodologies and safety tools.
- Excellent analytical mind-set would help in the understanding of the safety principles, architectures and safety requirement management.
- You are structured and accurate, follow defined processes and enjoy problem solving.
- You have the drive and desire to develop and are relatively self-driven.
- As we aim to grow in this area, we are looking for someone who can further develop our processes and contribute to our continued expansion.
- Fluent English skills:additional languages are a plus.
