A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be overall responsible for the delivery of our solution packages and offers in response to customer requests and subsequently for negotiating turbine supply agreements, including internal coordination towards the global sales organization, product development, engineering, supply chain, project and contract management, customers and external stakeholders, external advisors and lawyers, bank representatives, wind associations and government bodies. You will be instrumental in motivating the sales team throughout the process and for creating a frame for success in a high-paced and very professional environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Sales Project Manager in our offshore business unit, you will:

• Identify and develop opportunities for assigned projects/accounts as appropriate

• Be project responsible during the sales phase

• Understand customer requirements, ensure that they are reflected in project costing and planning

• Develop bid/negotiation strategies

• Be responsible for project planning, reporting and follow-up

• Secure adherence to Siemens Gamesa internal processes

• Motivate, support and develop a high-performing Sales team

• Set targets for team members, track progress and delivery

• Deliver timely, competitive and compliant offers to the customer

• Lead negotiation and conclusion of customer contracts

• Ensure smooth handover to the project management team after contract signature

What You Bring

• Holds an academical background in engineering, project management or comparable education

• 5 years or above extensive professional experience in international project sales, preferably in the (wind) energy industry. You have similar experience of complex sales management in multicultural teams and multi-contracting on large projects with highly professional customers.

• Excellent contractual understanding, negotiation skills and communication

• Fluent (speaking, reading, writing) in English

• Passion for renewable energy and motivation to lead the change. Open to travel and work in a global environment

• A high degree of accountability and commitment. A team player with customer focus, initiative and assertiveness

• The ability to motivate team members, engage and manage people
