A Snapshot of Your Day
Joining the dynamic Contract Management Execution team and working in the fast-paced environment of onshore wind power projects across Germany and Europe. Starting the day with contract review, identification of potential risks, and development of negotiation strategies to keep large-scale projects on track. Close collaboration with project and site managers throughout the day, translating complex legal language into clear, solution-oriented guidance. Ensuring by the end of the day that legal counsel safeguards both commercial objectives and the overall mission to accelerate the energy transition.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Acting as trusted legal partner for management, project execution, and service teams, steering contractual decisions end-to-end.
- Analysis, drafting, and negotiation of contracts and change orders, with early identification and decisive mitigation of risks.
- Balancing governance requirements with commercial objectives through proactive, business-oriented legal advice across all project phases.
- Leading preparation, pursuit, and defense of claims, including compilation of project documentation and supporting evidence.
- Conducting quantum and delay analyses to establish causation for events impacting scope, schedule, or cost.
What You Bring
- Qualified German lawyer with experience in a multinational company or a leading international law firm.
- In-depth expertise in international contract and claim law, German construction law, and legal risk management.
- Strong negotiation skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in dynamic and demanding environments.
- Excellent command of written and spoken German and English, with the ability to communicate complex matters clearly in an international context.
