DPS focuses on connecting with Business Areas to develop and deliver software solutions. The focus is on developing standardized, high-quality, and scalable software products and services to build a strong digital foundation in Siemens Energy, creating value for internal and external customers.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY
We are looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer who is excited about the intersection of modern web apps and Generative AI. You will be responsible for building responsive frontends, scalable backends, and integrating AI-driven features that solve real-world problems. This is a role for someone who loves to build, experiment, and own features from end-to-end.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Frontend: Build and maintain intuitive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js or Flutter (as preferred options).
• Backend: Develop robust APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI or Flask preferred).
• AI Integration: Implement GenAI features, working with LLMs, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
• Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage services on AWS (specifically ECS, Lambda, and S3).
• Collaboration: Work closely with our Solutions Lead to turn technical workflows into polished code.
• Active in contributing to cybersec topics by exploring dedicated AI applications in conjunction with cybersec specialists.
• Act as reference point in the DPS community by inspiring, mentoring and proposing new innovative solutions to complex problems that can be tackled by AI.
WHAT YOU BRING
• 8+ Years of professional software development experience.
• Frontend: Strong proficiency in React, including state management (Redux/Zustand) and modern CSS.
• Backend: Deep knowledge of Python and asynchronous programming.
• GenAI: Practical experience with OpenAI API, LangChain, or similar frameworks. Understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) is a plus.
• AWS: Hands-on experience with core AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Tooling: Familiarity with modern package managers (like uv) and containerization (Docker).
• A "Product-Minded" developer who cares about the user experience as much as the code quality.
• Someone who stays up-to-date with the fast-moving AI landscape.
• A clear communicator who can explain technical trade-offs.
