Join our dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in designing product components and functional systems as part of a comprehensive engineering solution. Imagine creating detailed layouts and mechanisms for complex product components or advanced prototypes that push the boundaries of innovation. You will research manufacturing feasibility, material availability, and efficiency, while also preparing cost studies for your assigned components. Engage with cutting-edge Computer-Aided-Design/Engineering (CAD/CAE) software to bring your concepts to life. Your keen eye will help identify design errors and recommend improvements, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will create detailed layouts and mechanisms for complex product components and prototypes.
- Research and analyze manufacturing processes, material availability, and cost efficiency for assigned components.
- Utilize CAD/CAE software to develop and refine conceptual designs.
- Identify design errors and recommend revisions to enhance layout and functionality.
- Collaborate with engineers and senior designers to ensure clarity and accuracy in all designs.
What You Bring
- A background in engineering or a related field, with experience in product design.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE software for effective design and modelling.
- Strong analytical skills to assess manufacturing feasibility and cost efficiency.
- Attention to detail to identify design errors and recommend improvements.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
