Are you ready to be at the heart of global energy transformation? At Siemens Energy, we don’t just build technology; we build the future. We are looking for a visionary project manager to join our Large Gas Turbine Combustion Design team.
In this role, you aren’t just managing a project—you are orchestrating a multidisciplinary "engine" of brilliant minds. You will bridge the gap between abstract innovation and real-world hardware, leading experts in aerodynamics, mechanical design, and manufacturing to deliver the next generation of sustainable power.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead Product Development: Spearhead the design of cutting-edge combustion modules that directly contribute to global decarbonization.
- Orchestrate Excellence: Empower a cross-functional team to hit critical milestones while managing budgets and high-level technical roadmaps.
- Be the Technical Voice:Act as the primary engineering point of contact, translating complex product requirements (PRS) into actionable design specifications (PDS).
- Drive Transparency: Communicate project wins and navigate challenges with Engineering Management, ensuring our projects stay on track and high impact.
- Bridge Disciplines: Represent the face of Engineering in high-stakes internal and external communications.
What You Bring
Required
- Education: Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (or a related field); advanced degrees may substitute for years of experience.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, product development.
- Project Management: Experience navigating the complexities of gas turbine component development and project management.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Teamcenter.
- Soft Skills: Strong presentation skills and experience with Agile development methodologies
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
Preferred
- Direct experience in gas turbine combustion/casing design and development.
- Familiarity with Siemens NX and the Siemens Energy PDP process.
- Intercultural experience and a collaborative mindset for cross-disciplinary innovation.
- A passion for mentoring employees and advancing new technologies.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
