About the Role
Whether you’re a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, you are the future of innovation and leadership. That’s why the global Siemens Energy Graduate Program can help you unleash your full potential. With guidance from experienced mentors, extensive training opportunities, and the chance to expand your global network, you will grow both your career and your personal capabilities.
What You Can Expect
Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders. In this role, you will support the global modularization and standardization program for power transformers, driving the development, definition, and implementation of modular building blocks across our product portfolio.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
- Define module‑specific targets (engineering effort, lead time, material cost) for power transformer modules and align them with management and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Drive and organize the modularization process, ensuring input and collaboration across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, service, quality, and sales teams.
- Own and maintain the “module booklet” containing all boundary conditions, interfaces, and key decisions.
- Coordinate integration of new module versions into engineering and product development processes, ensuring implementation within the global factory network.
- Facilitate decision‑making by consolidating cross‑functional perspectives and preparing well‑founded recommendations based on technical and commercial considerations.
What You Bring
- A master’s or doctoral degree in energy technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant hands-on experience gained through internships or working student roles, plus up to 36 months of additional professional experience.
- Strong analytical and collaborative skills, with the ability to work across diverse international stakeholder groups and drive decision-making.
- Familiarity with modern engineering and PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter/NX, simulation or calculation software), and openness to digital and AI-based tools.
- Willingness to create and assess technical and commercial business cases, and readiness to travel within our global transformer factory network.
- Minimum 3 months of international experience and excellent English skills to operate effectively in a multicultural environment.
