Join our dynamic team as a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) supporting our SGT business, where your role will be pivotal! Imagine engaging with suppliers daily, leading product qualifications, addressing non-conformances, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest quality standards while building strong relationships with our valued suppliers. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Product and Process Qualifications: Lead teams to perform Product and Process Qualifications (PPQ), ensuring suppliers adhere to Siemens Energy Quality Management Processes and tools.
- Supplier Involvement and Collaboration: Engage with suppliers to resolve process-related issues, including managing and containing non-conformances.
- Supplier Quality Supervision: Oversee supplier quality performance, initiate corrective and preventive actions, and drive quality improvement programs and risk mitigation measures.
- Supplier Qualification and Auditing: Collaborate with a multi-functional team to assess and audit supplier capabilities, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards.
- Monitoring and Communication: Continuously monitor and report on supplier quality performance, contribute to KPIs, and communicate any risks effectively.
What You Bring
- Technical and Engineering Experience: You possess a solid background in Engineering, R&D, or manufacturing, with experience in leading product qualifications (PPAP, APQP, or similar) and managing unexpected supplier quality issues.
- Quality and Risk Management: You are proficient in quality methods (5 why, FMEA, 8D, RCA) and risk management, with knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO9001) and Supplier Quality Management (SQM).
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: You have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to navigate a global environment and manage multi-problem investigations simultaneously.
- Commitment and Travel: You demonstrate commitment, collaboration, and positivity, with a willingness to travel as part of your role.
