A Snapshot of Your Day

You will work within a team of document controllers supporting different project teams in handling major international projects (HVDC and FACTS tender and execution projects). As a Document Controller, you will play a key role in supporting international project teams by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant management of project documentation and data.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Supporting project teams with all documentation-related activities.
• Establishing and maintaining a standardized project filing structure.
• Support the development of project-specific data and documentation management instructions.
• Register and distribute incoming and outgoing documents in accordance with the project distribution matrix.
• Coordinate document and data exchange between Siemens Energy, clients, and vendors/suppliers.
• Organize, maintain, and track project files and documentation through to completion.
• Create and maintain project-specific, handover-ready documentation within Siemens Energy document management systems (e.g., Fabasoft CDE, iTwo).
• Maintain project-specific data sets in Siemens Energy data management systems (e.g., Comos Gemini, PAM.
• Execute project- and company-related tasks assigned by management, escalating issues and proposing alternatives when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including quality requirements for final documentation.

What You Bring

• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with team members and clients.
• Intercultural sensitivity, to work in (virtual) international team.
• Capability of changing perspectives and adapting strategies and actions to the dynamic environment.
• Capability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuring a high-quality work process.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to analyze and learn as well as motivation, result orientation and enthusiasm to make a positive contribution to the team.
• Fully conversant with Microsoft – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Very good written and spoken English (German is a plus) and willingness to travel internationally (<30%).
