- Lead and execute the global commodity strategy for 3rd party packaging across all business units.
- Analyze market dynamics, cost structures, and supplier landscapes to drive data-based sourcing decisions.
- Develop Supply Chain concepts and realize cost optimization.
- Drive make-or-buy decisions and global packaging standardization initiatives.
- Lead and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing, capacity commitments, and framework contracts.
- Develop and govern long-term strategic supplier partnerships, performance reviews, and contract management processes.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
- Longstanding experience in strategic procurement of direct materials or in operations, ideally in Energy, Oil & Gas, or Process Industry; packaging experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in complex negotiations and contract management at international level.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with excellent conceptual understanding of Supply Chains and structured problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management capabilities across functions and regions in matrix organizations.
- Fluent in English; German and additional languages are a plus.
