About the Role
- Commercial & Financial Ownership; Responsible for commercial aspects of Combustion sales order execution, including project cost controlling, margin analysis, sales forecasting, PRIOneer maintenance, cost savings tracking, and reporting of financial status for assigned projects and product portfolios.
- Sales Order Financial Management; Maintain Sales Order financials from order entry through project closeout, ensuring proper revenue recognition, timely invoicing, and identification of financial risks and opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration; Collaborate closely with Technical Project/Order Managers, Planners, Procurement, and other stakeholders to support effective order and project execution.
- Tendering, Pricing & RFQ Support; Provide financial support to Tendering and Order Management teams to ensure quality and timely Service quote submissions, support Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and lead annual Service Pricing development and bi-annual “New App” transfer pricing activities.
- Forecasting, Budgeting & Variance Analysis; Work closely with the finance team to align on forecast developments, communicate known deviations to finance management, develop annual budgets, manage monthly forecasts, and provide variance analysis within area of responsibility.
- Compliance, Reporting & Special Projects; Ensure accuracy of project books and records, maintain compliance with financial guidelines, and support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- 5+ years experience in finance/accounting
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and IFRS; strong skills in PC applications, including SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis.
- Understanding of revenue recognition, transfer pricing and related accounting concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be able to identify issues and resolve them independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication skills and willingness to learn from others.
